This guide maps those environments. A sealed perfume vitrine and a refillable tester tray are both \u201cbeauty\u201d and need different joints, thickness, and wipe-down rules.<\/p>\n\n    <h2 id=\"retail\">Retail and POS<\/h2>\n\n    <p>The job is to hold a SKU in reach of the public, survive a season, and come apart or reprint when the campaign ends.<\/p>\n\n    <ul>\n      <li><strong>Typical parts:<\/strong> counter risers, brochure holders, five-sided feature cubes, pallet-end units with an acrylic face.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Usual stock:<\/strong> cast sheet when edges are the design; extruded sheet for high-volume bent pockets.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Starting thickness:<\/strong> many counter units still land in the 3\u20138 mm band used in the product-type guide. Wide unframed decks need ribs or a thicker plate.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Industry constraint:<\/strong> night crews and glass cleaner. Ammonia and alcohol sprays haze joints that looked perfect at sign-off.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p>Specify the product envelope and the \u201chand-off\u201d moment \u2014 customer pick-up versus look-only. They also meet ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, fragrance oils, and makeup remover. Those fluids can craze PMMA. The industry spec is therefore optical sheet plus a chemical plan, not \u201cpremium acrylic\u201d as an adjective.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <ul>\n      <li>Prefer removable trays over sealed wells that trap toner.<\/li>\n      <li>Put print on faces that are not the daily wipe path.<\/li>\n      <li>Leave the actual SKU on a production-sheet coupon before the bulk run. A generic chemical-resistance paragraph will not predict one serum.<\/li>\n      <li> testers that customers handle need more thickness or a hidden structure than a back-bar display of the same footprint.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p>Cleaning protocol belongs in the store manual. Phones, earbuds, and wearables change dimensions between revisions. A pocket cut to last season\u2019s CAD will either rattle or jam.<\/p>\n\n    <ul>\n      <li><strong>Typical parts:<\/strong> demo wells, security-tether pass-throughs, accessory organizers, boxed-kit windows.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Stock:<\/strong> cast sheet for CNC wells and polished edges; confirm hole and slot tolerances on the first article, not only on the drawing.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Constraint:<\/strong> theft hardware and cables introduce notches. Size the hole for the tether plus clearance; do not treat the acrylic as the lock.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Heat:<\/strong> live demo units and LED bases add local temperature. Keep power supplies off the sheet face.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p>Write the SKU envelope as a range, and say whether the well must be recut when the next generation ships. That sentence saves more money than shaving 1 mm off the sheet.<\/p>\n\n    <h2 id=\"hospitality\">Hospitality and hotel<\/h2>\n\n    <p>Amenity trays, minibar organizers, menu holders, and bathroom vanity trays live with water, oil, and housekeeping chemicals.<\/p>\n\n    <ul>\n      <li><strong>Typical parts:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanait.com\/custom-acrylic-trays\/\">serving and vanity trays<\/a>, welcome-kit boxes, menu and sign holders.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Stock:<\/strong> cast sheet with a rim radius. Sharp corners chip on carts and stone counters.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Constraint:<\/strong> wet load. A tray that is stiff empty can oil-can with bottles and condensation. Design the rim or the thickness for the carried load.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Do not assume dishwasher service<\/strong> unless the grade, adhesive, and print are tested for that cycle. House hot-water and caustic detergents are outside a normal display spec.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p>Outdoor terrace menus need a UV-stable grade and slotted or framed fasteners. An indoor extruded holder moved outside is a different product.<\/p>\n\n    <h2 id=\"exhibition\">Exhibitions and pop-ups<\/h2>\n\n    <p>Trade-stand parts are assembled, photographed, packed, and flown. Transit and tool-less setup dominate.<\/p>\n\n    <ul>\n      <li>Prefer constructions that unstack: lift-off lids, pinned shelves, numbered packs.<\/li>\n      <li>Specify corner protection and film that will still be on the face after booth build.<\/li>\n      <li>Solid-looking plinths are often hollow sheet boxes. If the object on top is tall, add weight in the base and say so on the drawing.<\/li>\n      <li>Lighting rigs and dark tinted cases trap heat. Measure the booth lamp, do not copy a showroom photo.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <h2 id=\"food\">Food service and grocery<\/h2>\n\n    <div class=\"sa-def\">\n      <p><strong>Short answer.<\/strong> Packaged grocery display can use ordinary indoor display-grade PMMA chosen for span and optics. Unpackaged food \u2014 bakery domes, tasting trays, some sneeze-guard faces \u2014 needs a documented food-contact grade for the destination market. In the United States that conversation starts with 21 CFR 177.1010. In the EU it starts with Regulation (EU) No 10\/2011 and the framework in Regulation (EC) No 1935\/2004.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <p>Inks, magnets, and recycled content can void a sheet-level claim. Name the market on the RFQ. Retail programs usually combine a named PMMA sheet route with a thickness and finish chosen for public handling. Ask for the mill grade, not for a vertical nickname.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-faq-item\">\n        <h3 class=\"sa-faq-q\">Can one fixture design move from beauty to food service?<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"sa-faq-a\">The geometry can. The documents and the chemistry usually cannot. Beauty assumes splash of alcohol. Food contact assumes a listed composition and simulant testing.
