The standard is the signed sample and the frozen drawing. \u201cLooks clear\u201d under frontal showroom light is not a criterion. Light the part from the side, check size against the drawing, and write the result against a list. This page is that list. It does not pass because it is transparent, or because it resembles a competitor\u2019s photo.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <p>If there is no signed sample, there is no visual standard. Freeze one before bulk, and note every accepted deviation on the sign-off. Process differences \u2014 flame polish on the sample, laser-left-as-cut on bulk \u2014 belong on that sheet, not in a claim after delivery.<\/p>\n\n    <h2 id=\"setup\">How to set up the check<\/h2>\n\n    <ul>\n      <li>Use the signed sample, the frozen drawing, and the live SKU if the part has a pocket.<\/li>\n      <li>Put the part on a flat table. Warp is easier to see against a known plane.<\/li>\n      <li>Light faces from the side, not only from the front. Side light shows haze, pits, and joint blush.<\/li>\n      <li>Leave protective film on until you are ready to check that face. Peel only the area you are inspecting, then note whether film comes off clean.<\/li>\n      <li>Have a scale or calipers for overall size and wall thickness if the drawing calls them out.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p>Do not inspect a polished cube in a brightly lit showroom and call it done. If the drawing says 5 mm walls, measure walls. Do not substitute a generic \u201cacrylic is 5 mm\u201d rule.<\/p>\n\n    <h2 id=\"by-product\">What matters more by product<\/h2>\n\n    <div class=\"sa-grid sa-grid-2\">\n      <div class=\"sa-card\">\n        <h3>Five-sided box or cube<\/h3>\n        <p>Joints and corners first. Side-light the seams. A chip on a cube corner is both a cosmetic fail and a pack fail.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-card\">\n        <h3>Tray or brochure holder<\/h3>\n        <p>Flatness and lip height. A bowed base or a lip that does not hold the stack fails even if the faces are clean.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-card\">\n        <h3>Electronics well<\/h3>\n        <p>Fit against the live device, including the tether. A pretty pocket that blocks the cable is a fail.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-card\">\n        <h3>Printed face<\/h3>\n        <p>Placement, spelling, and a wipe if the face will be cleaned in store. Ink on the wipe path needs a rub check, not only a look.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <p>Those constructions are the usual subjects: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanait.com\/custom-acrylic-boxes\/\">boxes<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanait.com\/custom-acrylic-trays\/\">trays<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanait.com\/\">display stands<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n    <h2 id=\"sampling\">Sampling versus 100 percent<\/h2>\n\n    <p>On a first article and on a new construction, check the signed piece fully, then spot-check the lot against it. On a repeat of an unchanged drawing, many buyers use attribute sampling.<\/p>\n\n    <p>ISO 2859-1 is a sampling procedure. It becomes a rule only when the purchase order names the inspection level and the AQL. \u201cAQL\u201d alone is not a standard. \u201c100 percent inspected\u201d without a written list is the same claim as \u201cwe looked at them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n    <div class=\"sa-note\">\n      <strong>Cosmetic acrylic is awkward for generic AQL.<\/strong> A scratch on the camera face of a luxury box is not the same defect as a scuff on a hidden foot. Classify defects \u2014 critical, major, minor \u2014 on the sign-off, or you will argue about them at the dock.\n    <\/div>\n\n    <h2 id=\"record\">How to record a result<\/h2>\n\n    <p>A usable record has five fields:<\/p>\n    <ol>\n      <li>Drawing revision and sample number.<\/li>\n      <li>Quantity checked and quantity in the lot.<\/li>\n      <li>Each failed item, with a photo in side light.<\/li>\n      <li>Disposition: accept, rework, or reject.<\/li>\n      <li>Who signed, and the date.<\/li>\n    <\/ol>\n\n    <p>Accepting a deviation without writing it down creates a new, undocumented standard. The next lot will be judged against that silence.<\/p>\n\n    <h2 id=\"not-this\">What this checklist is not<\/h2>\n\n    <ul>\n      <li>Not a substitute for a food-contact declaration if the program needs one. That is a document check, against the destination market, not a visual check.<\/li>\n      <li>Not an outdoor-weathering test. A clear face in the warehouse does not predict tint shift in sun.<\/li>\n      <li>Not a tensile or impact number. Those need a grade and a test method. A display inspection does not generate them.<\/li>\n      <li>Not a factory audit. Walking the bench is a different job. This list is for the parts.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <h2 id=\"faq\">FAQ<\/h2>\n\n    <div class=\"sa-faq\">\n      <div class=\"sa-faq-item\">\n        <h3 class=\"sa-faq-q\">Can I inspect acrylic from photos the factory sends?<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"sa-faq-a\">Photos in side light can screen faces and joints. They cannot confirm pocket fit against the live SKU, warp on a table, or pack. Use them to reject an obvious fail, not to accept a first lot.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-faq-item\">\n        <h3 class=\"sa-faq-q\">Why do scratches appear after I peel the film?<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"sa-faq-a\">Some were under the film. Some are from the peel, the bench, or stacking faces together. Note whether the scratch was visible with film on. That separates a factory face defect from handling.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-faq-item\">\n        <h3 class=\"sa-faq-q\">Is a small joint blush a fail?<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"sa-faq-a\">If it is worse than the signed sample, or if it sits on the camera face and was not accepted in writing, yes. If the sign-off allowed it, it is the new standard. Write that down.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-faq-item\">\n        <h3 class=\"sa-faq-q\">Should incoming inspection include a lab test?<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"sa-faq-a\">Only when the specification requires a named grade or a food-contact document. For a retail fixture, fit, edge, joint, and pack against the signed sample are the inspection.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-faq-item\">\n        <h3 class=\"sa-faq-q\">Who should sign the golden sample?<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"sa-faq-a\">The buyer who will accept the lot, or a named delegate. A factory-only sign-off is the factory inspecting against itself.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"sa-faq-item\">\n        <h3 class=\"sa-faq-q\">What if the factory has no written checklist?<\/h3>\n        <p class=\"sa-faq-a\">Use this one, attach it to the purchase order, and require results against the signed sample.
